More Than a Coalition
Who We Are
Who We Are
United by Heart. Driven by Service.
Corazones Unidos Coalition didn’t start as a large organization with funding or formal structure. It began with a simple decision, to show up for people who needed support.
In 2018, small acts of service turned into regular outreach. Regular outreach turned into trusted relationships. Over time, those relationships became a growing network of volunteers, families, artists, and community partners united by one shared belief:
No one in our community should feel invisible.
What sets us apart isn’t just the programs we run, it’s the consistency. We return. We follow through. We build trust.
We are rooted in El Paso. We understand the culture, the families, and the challenges. Our work reflects the heart of this border community.
Our Approach
We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces
From the beginning, our work has centered on showing up — not just once, but again and again. Whether we are visiting elderly residents in shelters, spending time with individuals with special needs, or connecting with neighbors facing hardship, our goal is never transactional. It is relational.
Presence means learning names.
It means remembering stories.
It means returning, even when there are no cameras, no recognition, and no applause.
We understand that trust within a community is earned over time. Especially in border communities like El Paso and Juárez, relationships are built through authenticity and consistency. Our approach reflects the culture of this region, rooted in family, respect, and shared responsibility.
❤️ Relationship Over Recognition
We prioritize real connection over visibility. The goal isn’t attention — it’s trust and lasting impact.
🌿 Consistency Over Convenience
We don’t serve when it’s easy. We serve when it’s needed. Our commitment to the community goes beyond occasional outreach.
🤲 Action Over Words
We believe service is demonstrated through action. Every meal shared, every activity hosted, every visit made reflects our commitment to showing up.
